W. Brodhage OHG was founded as a cork-cutting company on May 11, 1864 in Braunschweig by Wilhelm Brodhage. Today, the company is managed as a family-owned company in its fifth generation by Dr. Eva Helmold-Kaselowsky. Changing customer requirements and technical development in the sealing area mean that cork has completely disappeared as a raw material for the company's products.

Today, high-grade plastics serve as the base material from which highly diverse capping and sealing products are manufactured.
